Baltimore beyond
plastic

A youth-led, action-oriented organization dedicated to merging public health, environmental advocacy, and legislation to change the world.
Starting in
 Baltimore.

We wish you well during this challenging time.
This pandemic has not been easy for anyone and because of that, we hope to create a sense of community through an art competition! Any and all art forms are accepted through the dates of December 12-January 17 as long as they are relevant to the theme of “We are Not Disposable.”

Love, health, and wellness to you and yours.

BALTIMORE. BRIGHT. BEAUTIFUL.

Baltimore Beyond Plastic is a youth-led organization founded in 2016 to support a Maryland expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) phase-out. Our work continues to grow to embrace a variety of environmental topics.

Mission Statement: Baltimore Beyond Plastic coordinates youth advocacy efforts around a diverse range of environmental problems facing Baltimore City, such as:
  1. waste and trash
  2. climate change and energy
  3. economic inequalities and job insecurities
  4. health disparities stemming from environmental issues
We have a special focus around plastic pollutants.

Check out youth in action at our events!
